NOTE: This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the office and be willing to work onsite at the client and/or Slalom office when needed. Travel may require 10‑20% of the time.

This position reports to the Regional Capability Lead and is based in Seattle supporting the Amazon Account, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Data and Intelligence sales and fostering customer‑centric go‑to‑market strategies.

What You’ll Do In this role, you will join a Data & Intelligence Go‑to‑Market team for the Amazon Account. You will be responsible for building a high‑performing go‑to‑market team and function while owning the growth strategy for Slalom’s data and intelligence offerings. You’ll cultivate an inclusive, entrepreneurial team culture that attracts and retains top talent in data and AI, and position Slalom as a trusted innovation partner across the Amazon Account.

In this uniquely positioned leadership role, you’ll tailor and scale our national vision into a local force—where innovation, execution, and business relevance converge. You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners and client teams to identify high‑impact opportunities, drive sales and revenue growth, and elevate our go‑to‑market presence.

Capability Vision & Strategy

Tailor regional or country‑wide capability strategies to the Amazon Account, considering unique business unit portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors.

Drive Data and Intelligence sales initiatives by leveraging market insights and aligning strategic priorities with customer needs.

Go‑to‑Market Approach

Proactively create demand by speaking at conferences and events to establish yourself and your team as thought leaders.

Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan thought‑leadership events focused on Data and Intelligence solutions and client outcomes.

Ignite awareness and generate demand through campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs.

Business Development & Sales

Be accountable for Data and Intelligence sales growth and managing the opportunity pipeline through to closure, ensuring alignment with market strategies.

Partner with client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue Data and Intelligence related opportunities.

Serve as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, engaging broader capability team SMEs as needed.

Participate in multi‑capability solutioning and client outcome‑based selling motions with the go‑to‑market team.

People Development

Support the development of a small team of direct reports focused on Data and Intelligence go‑to‑market activities.

Mentor other practitioners within the capability area.

Provide performance‑management feedback for capability team members involved in market pursuits and delivery.

Delivery Management

Contribute to delivery in billable roles as a Delivery Solution Lead or in SME roles, with defined utilization targets.

What You’ll Bring

Prior Consulting Experience: Managed / IT Consulting experience is required. Prior experience at Amazon preferred.

Inspirational Leadership: Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking aligned with market needs to drive Sales.

Proactive GTM Mentality: Build relationships and seek opportunities to expand the pipeline.

Growth Mindset: Act as an external speaker at events, engaging customer CXOs as a credible peer.

Collaboration: Exhibit strong collaborative skills across teams and organizations.

Technical Excellence: Lead solutions and delivery with AWS services.

Role The role offers the following salary ranges by location:

Boston, LA, NJ, NYC, San Diego, Seattle, Washington D.C., Westchester:

Senior Principal: $175,000 – $225,000

Director: $220,000 – $270,000

All other locations:

Senior Principal: $165,000 – $215,000

Director: $200,000 – $250,000

Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus exists. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.
