Job Description Assurance Technologies is seeking a B2B Regional Outside Sales Representative to join our team! As a distributor, our company has exclusive territories for selling measurement equipment into various Midwest manufacturing industries. Experience in distribution-type outside sales is required, and 2‑4 years of outside sales in the manufacturing industry is ideal.
This role combines existing account management and new project/application development. All existing leads, customers, and opportunities will be transitioned to the rep upon completion of onboarding. The rep leads the development of customer relationships, presents solutions that meet technical and budgetary requirements, and supports after‑sale follow‑ups. The representative will have access to multiple product lines, an equipment showroom for presentations, and support from our application and training teams.
Responsibilities
Contact customers within the region through B2B outreach, prospecting, networking, and marketing.
Understand product offerings, technical data, and work with application engineers to present machine capabilities and company offerings.
Spend at least 80% of the work week on the road with existing, new, or potential customers.
Track sales leads within the territory and provide daily/monthly status reports through Salesforce.
Follow up with customers regarding pending orders and new sales opportunities.
Provide marketing ideas to the Sales Manager from customer visits for future campaigns.
Generate sales quotations for customers.
Review, evaluate, and approve all purchase orders received from customers.
Any time spent in the office is incidental to outside sales activities.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in sales, tech, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
Some technical experience preferred; trainable candidates acceptable.
Motivated by fast pace, non-repetitive daily work.
Quality Engineers & Managers who enjoy personal communication & quality process issues welcome to apply.
Blueprint reading highly desired (training provided).
Great attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base + uncapped commission (base determined by experience)
