About the Role We are seeking a technically minded, customer‑focused
Inside Sales Representative / Project Manager
to own the full lifecycle of customer inquiries and awarded orders. This is a pivotal role that combines commercial competency, technical coordination, and project execution in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for incoming RFQs from customers and distributors
Review customer specifications, data sheets, painting/coating requirements, testing/quality requirements, and third‑party witness points
Coordinate technical documentation and bid reviews with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams
Build accurate, competitive quotations that reflect full compliance and optimal lead times
Follow up on submitted quotes, obtain feedback and convert opportunities into orders
Project Management (Post‑Purchase Order)
Enter awarded orders into our ERP system communicating customer expectations to our production team
Drive on‑time execution by proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks across departments
Drive on‑budget execution by proactively coordinating with supply chain personnel to find cost efficiencies and resolve any cost escalations since quotation
Ensure strict adherence to all technical, quality, and documentation requirements
Provide regular status updates to customers and manage change orders when needed
Coordinate FATs, third‑party inspections, and documentation submittals
Customer Relationship & Satisfaction
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key accounts
Resolve issues quickly and professionally
Positively represent the company always instilling confidence
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of inside sales, technical sales support, or project management experience in the valve, oilfield equipment, or related capital equipment industry (API 6A/6D experience is a strong plus)
Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications, GA drawings, and material/test requirements
Basic sales and communication skills along with an ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse global customer base
Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion on schedule
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project & Teams): experience with manufacturing ERP systems is a plus
High School Diploma: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with strong relevant experience

This is a 100% onsite position based at our Port Allen facility. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
