Overview Siemens Digital Industries is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager for the Battery Industry to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions. This vertical team delivers solutions, products, and services to the accounts you will serve.
Responsibilities
Develop and expand the customer base for broad adoption of the Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio.
Coordinate and lead cross‑functional teams to define, present, and deliver solutions jointly developed with the client.
Analyze the customer’s market, business targets, strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain, and key business drivers and effectively transfer this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and regions.
Represent the customer to the Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach across segments and regions for the customer.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
3+ years prior experience selling automation, robotics, and/or software solutions in manufacturing.
8+ years key account management/senior sales and related management experience with a track record of successful performance.
Travel: 50%.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Battery manufacturing lifecycle expertise a plus.
Executive‑level communication & presentation skills.
Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution.
Broad experience in documenting projects/opportunities, contacts, project scope, and key decision makers within CRM tools. Salesforce software experience a plus.
