Job Description
Fully remote position open to candidates living in any U.S. state except Vermont and Alaska. The role is an individual contributor focused on expanding U.S. Bank’s prepaid card business through strategic channel partnerships.
Position Highlights
Develop and execute a proactive outside sales strategy targeting channel partners (e.g., payroll providers, fintech platforms, resellers, B2C disbursement solutions).
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and demand‑generation marketing activities.
Deliver compelling presentations to prospective partners, demonstrating the value of our prepaid solutions.
Collaborate with partners to create joint business plans outlining strategies and activities to achieve revenue targets; conduct quarterly reviews to evaluate progress and adjust plans as needed.
Coordinate and leverage U.S. Bank resources and stakeholders, including direct sales teams, product managers, and marketing support, to advance partnership goals and capture sales opportunities.
Develop strategic integration partnerships and leverage embedded payments opportunities to cross‑sell additional disbursement solutions.
Support field marketing initiatives, including staffing trade show booths and delivering engaging sales presentations.
Ensure compliance alignment during partner discovery and onboarding through collaboration with governance and risk teams.
Track performance metrics (pipeline growth, partner activation, revenue contribution) and report progress regularly.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience.
Ability to travel locally and regionally, with some national travel.
Preferred Skills And Experience
7–9+ years in sales/business development with a proven track record of new logo acquisition.
Experience in payments, prepaid cards, or financial services preferred.
Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills, including experience with referral agreements or revenue‑share models.
Ability to work independently and manage a high‑volume prospecting cadence.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
