The Home Depot is seeking an
Asset Protection Specialist
to prevent financial loss due to theft and fraud and to support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s). The role uses tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store security, and auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, with a focus on driving a shrink-elimination culture in the store.
Responsibilities
Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud and support safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s).
Use tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink-elimination culture.
Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions as needed.
Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out responsibilities in a way that minimizes risk of injury to self, associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates while remaining focused on store objectives and supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
