Base Pay $22.00/yr - $26.00/yr
Mission Statement The Mission of The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, Inc. is to advocate, provide opportunities and supports necessary for all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be accepted and valued as citizens of the communities in which they choose to live, learn, work and play.
Responsibilities
Assist the manager with the day-to-day operation of the community residence supporting individuals with disabilities.
Teach life skills and guide the personal and social development of the individuals in the home.
Write and manage individual habilitation plans for each resident.
Maintain staff schedules and assist the manager with scheduling staff for trainings.
Work evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements
Valid NJ Driver's License with no more than 5 points.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with a developmental disability population.
Previous experience working in a group home setting.
