JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for performance of inside sales activities for assigned territories. Work with sales staff to get accurate orders and quotes for customers according to company procedures. Must be detail orientated and able to get accurate quotes and work with different customers and coworkers.
Essential Job Functions Must be highly detailed oriented and able to work effectively with customers and coworkers
Order entry and manufacturing quoting experience is highly preferred
Maintain ‘Sales Activity Report’ and communicate with customers, managers and representatives regarding current activities, quotation status and follow up activities
Track all open orders to assure their timely delivery and notify customers of possible delays
Negotiate orders, reschedules and change orders
Maintain clear record of communications regarding order status and negotiations, including customer correspondence, order and quotation files
Be familiar with all company sales policies and inform all parties when they are applied to situations
Verify order and change order information for accuracy
Coordinate all necessary information with engineering regarding deviations from specifications and convey price changes to the customer
Negotiate returns and cancelations with customers
Maintain Lynx product sample inventory as assigned
Assure all requests for corrective action are completed in a timely manner
Prepare pricing, secure approval and negotiate orders and terms
Provide customers with information regarding capabilities, pricing, deliveries, etc.
Assure maximum order bookings through quotation follow-up, customer prospecting and other telemarketing activities
Prepare monthly commission reports as assigned
Issue new dealer letters and information packets in assigned territories
Work together with the Engineering Coordinator to assure that quotes are processed in a timely manner and that priorities are maintained
Issue sales literature to customers and representatives in assigned territory as required including fulfillment of literature requests and trade show responses
Coordinate trade show activities as assigned
Coordinate ‘info @’ e-mail account activities as assigned
Maintain and publish up-to-date list of representatives as assigned
Maintain ISO Procedures and Work Instruction binders and logs as assigned
Must follow all policies of BH Electronics
Other duties as assigned
Regular and timely attendance is required
Physical Elements Required Ability to listen and speak clearly and professionally in English
Occasional travel using public transportation
Ability to move from assigned desk and other areas of the office as needed
Mental Elements Required Ability to write, read, and understand English language with clients, co-workers and representatives
Ability to organize and coordinate schedules

Job Qualifications & Characteristics Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience: 2 years minimum in inside sales or customer service; working knowledge of MS Windows andOffice Software
Personal: Excellent oral and good written communication skills; Positive, assertive attitude and strongorganizational skills
Functional: Must be able to operate all standard office equipment and communicate with customers,representatives and co-workers without special accommodation
