The outside sales representative will focus on the big‑box retail segment, i.e., Home Depot and Lowe’s, while engaging the full sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, profitable revenue generation and long‑term account goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales goals, gross margin and YoY growth for assigned territory. Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to establish targets and schedules. Customer engagement: conduct regular training courses, showcase product features, pricing tools and lead times. Ride‑along with manufacturer reps and attend contractor events. In‑store displays: identify space, obtain approval, order, set up, and maintain cleanliness and current updates. Pro desk and Pro sales team: check in on current opportunities, keep them updated on products, pricing and quoting processes, and coordinate in‑field ride‑alongs. Work with store associates to follow up on service/warranty issues. In‑store service for partnered locations: establish operational standards, score locations on completeness, review planograms and SOS kiosk consistency, replenish displays and remove excess packaging. Demonstrate thorough understanding of internal capabilities and external market conditions, supply chain, pricing and competition. Prioritization and communication: schedule meetings and travel efficiently, complete action items timely, respond quickly, develop professionally, prepare for sales calls and keep all opportunities and account information updated in CRM. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Experience: Minimum 1 year of outside sales experience, unless currently in another role within Woodgrain. Skills & Abilities: Competitive attitude, above‑average Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, time management, self‑motivation, relationship building, positive attitude and professional appearance. Significant travel with overnight stays required. Driver’s license: Valid state driver’s license required. Supervisory Requirements

None. Physical Demands

Requires regular talking or listening, lifting and inspecting material on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Work Environment
