Plan and execute advertising policies and programs, and produce collateral materials such as posters, contests, coupons, or giveaways to generate interest in products or services for a department, organization, or client account. Tasks: Build and communicate with a diverse coalition of organizations and public figures to support campaign goals. Consult with clients to provide marketing and technical advice. Coordinate with department heads on contracts, advertising media, and product promotion. Engage with organizations to explain services and facilities offered. Coordinate activities across departments such as sales, graphic arts, media, finance, and research. Work with media outlets to disseminate advertising messages. Oversee product research and development efforts. Develop plans to grow business with existing accounts and transact advertising business as an agent. Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns targeting buyers like dealers, distributors, or consumers. Design and implement advertising strategies for organizations. Negotiate advertising and sales contracts. Work Context:
Involves telephone communication, email, face-to-face discussions, team coordination, and responsibility for work outcomes. Work Activities: Manage contracts Access media advertising services Solicit support from officials or the public Participate in staff meetings Oversee execution of policies Sell products through advertising Develop policies, procedures, and standards Advise clients or customers Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 2 years Education:
High School diploma or G.E.D.
