Direct the distribution of products or services to customers, establish sales territories, quotas, and goals, and develop training programs for sales staff. Analyze sales data to assess potential and inventory needs, and monitor customer preferences. Tasks: Assess marketing potential of store locations. Consult with department heads on advertising and equipment needs. Advise customers on equipment purchases. Set pricing and discount strategies. Manage sales activities for products, services, or real estate. Oversee recordkeeping for export, bids, and credit collections. Coordinate sales and shipping operations. Monitor customer preferences to guide sales efforts. Supervise regional and local sales managers and staff. Prepare and approve budgets. Work Activities: Provide customer service Discuss advertising strategies Evaluate product quality Analyze sales trends Sell products via advertising Conduct market research Advise clients Analyze market and delivery systems Qualifications: Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience High School diploma or G.E.D.
