Role Overview The Sales Support Representative will ensure smooth order processing, invoicing, and customer communication. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, resolving issues, assisting with quoting, and offering add-on opportunities to customers. The role requires strong communication skills, IT knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Place customer purchase orders accurately into the system

Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery

Manage open orders to ensure expedient and accurate fulfillment

Confirm invoicing activity is timely and accurate

Resolve problems proactively at customer and supplier levels

Learn vendor programs to source products at advantageous prices

Assist customers with returns, inquiries, and information requests

Develop relationships with sales, vendors, and internal departments

Assist with quoting and offer add-on opportunities (warranties, service agreements, accessories)

Communicate professionally with internal and external customers

Handle projects and additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills and Experience Essential

Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum diploma in business or related field acceptable)

1+ years of sales or customer service experience

Knowledge of computers, networking, and IT industry

Excellent communication and phone skills

Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities

Team player with a positive attitude

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Position Specifics

Salary range: $19.23 – $28.85/hour (final offer based on experience, skills, certifications, and location)

Compensation may include commissions and discretionary bonuses

At-will employment with potential for salary adjustments based on performance or market factors
