Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth in high-value accounts. This is not just a strategic role, we need someone who will roll up their sleeves, own key contracts, and actively develop new business while coaching a team of talented sales professionals.

What You’ll Do Business Development & Growth

Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and industry partners, ensuring long-term growth and retention.

Actively generate new business and expand revenue by personally seeking high-value contracts.

Serve as both a business developer and team leader: the manager is expected to bring in sales personally, while guiding the team in execution.

Partner with sales representatives to execute strategy by having the team handle prospecting, calls, and deal execution once opportunities are developed.

Support the team on complex deals, negotiations, and executive engagement while maintaining personal accountability for revenue goals.

Team Leadership & Accountability

Lead and coach a sales team of +- 8 staff, setting clear goals and ensuring accountability.

Create a positive, motivating environment that drives performance and collaboration.

Conduct structured team meetings and one-on-ones to review progress and provide coaching.

Model sales behaviors by being actively engaged in customer and prospect interactions.

Process & Systems

Implement and enforce systems for CRM usage, pipeline management, and reporting accuracy.

Ensure leads and opportunities are consistently worked and followed up on.

Learn and use company systems (including order entry and internal tools) to fully understand workflows and support the team.

Build repeatable processes that enhance efficiency and create scalable success.

Customer & Internal Support

Travel to meet top accounts and prospects, strengthening relationships and uncovering new opportunities.

Partner with marketing, product, and operations to align campaigns, product launches, and customer initiatives.

Ensure seamless collaboration between sales and customer service to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Define KPIs and track team performance against sales goals.

Provide accurate and timely reporting to leadership.

Use performance data to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field . Manufacturing/printing experience is an asset.

Proven experience in sales management with a strong record of directly securing high-value accounts, and contract negotiations in a B2B environment.

Strong knowledge and handle of forecasting and budgeting

Demonstrated success in building systems, enforcing accountability, and developing high-performing teams.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot are assets.

Experience embracing AI tools and marketing strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.

Experience in hospitality or retail industries and familiarity with manufacturing a product are considered assets.

Must be able to travel across the border for trade shows and client visits

The position is salary plus annual bonus. We also have a pension plan where the company matches a certain percentage. Great health and dental benefits and the position is in office with the flexibility to work from home.
