Remote and traveling 50% of the time, but could be up to 70%. Territory:

Reports to:
Inside Sales Manager
Your Impact As an Account Executive, Inside you will sell and introduce Axon’s products and services to both existing and new Law Enforcement customers. You will fulfill requests for orders, quotations, and lead times, and track and follow up on leads generated through web, mail, training course, and other campaigns. You will also prospect and drive demand in the assigned territory for all Axon products.
Your Day‑to‑Day
Develop and execute a regional sales plan that includes outbound prospecting, lead generation and field sales engagement to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill‑building and professional development classes.
Identify decision makers among targeted leads or accounts to start the sales process.
Maintain and expand the CRM (Salesforce) with prospects, accounts, and additional contacts.
Perform outbound and inbound account management.
Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts and report on market situation.
Handle changes in sales orders and communicate those changes with related departments.
Provide effective product demos for end‑user customers via phone and web conferencing.
Emphasize the Axon Ecosystem by promoting product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales orders.
Capture accurate and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management system.
Attend industry conferences and regional trade shows to develop industry expertise.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
At least 2 years of full‑cycle sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment.
Over 1 year of customer‑facing sales experience.
Proficiency with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred: Over 1 year of field sales experience.

The compensation for this role is made up of uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 58,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 93,600 in the highest geographic market. On average, the national commissions target for this role is USD 140,000. The actual base pay is dependent on many factors such as experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and geographic market demands.
