Secured Tech is seeking a personable, strategic, and relationship-driven Regional Sales Consultant (RSC) to build lasting partnerships with K-12 school districts. This role is grounded in a consultative and proactive approach to helping district technology departments grow, sustain, and maximize the value of their 1:1 device initiatives. By understanding district needs, identifying solutions, and supporting districts’ evaluation of options, the Regional Solutions Consultant helps districts achieve their goals while contributing to Secured Tech’s revenue generation and success. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to school district partners, guiding them through product implementation, device refresh cycles, and ongoing optimization of their 1:1 device strategies. The RSC will offer personalized service, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of each customer’s needs to expand existing accounts and to initiate new relationships with potential customers. Job Title:Regional Sales Consultant Reports To:Director of Sales Location: Remote-first role with travel up to 40%.Candidates should be based in or near one of our our key customer regions of Illinois, Oklahoma, or North Carolina. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationships & Engagement
Build, maintain, and grow trusted consultative relationships with K-12 district stakeholders. Actively assess district needs, challenges, and opportunities, recommending tailored solutions focused on 1:1 device initiatives and related technology department goals. Proactively support assigned accounts through regular communication, strategic consultations, and long-term planning discussions. Territory & Growth Management
Develop and execute a regional growth plan focused on client retention, expansion, and new business development. Identify and qualify new opportunities through outreach, referrals, conferences, and networking. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer needs, collaborating across internal teams when appropriate. Consistently meet or exceed sales performance and customer outreach metrics, contributing to the achievement of team and company goals. Solutions Knowledge & Recommendations
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Secured Tech’s products, services, and customer engagement strategies. Use product knowledge to offer actionable recommendations to help districts maximize their technology investments. Partner with Solutions, Customer Success, Procurement, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Company Representation & Core Values
Represent Secured Tech at conferences, trade shows, and events to build brand awareness and foster new relationships. Share insights, success stories, and regional trends with internal teams to strengthen team-wide strategy and to improve solutions and services delivery. Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations as needed to communicate solution value and district success stories. Demonstrate Secured Tech’s core values in all client and team interactions. Qualifications:
5–7 years of experience in K–12 district technology, educational technology, or K–12 sales/account management Proven success in consultative sales and long-term relationship management with district technology leaders Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across a range of stakeholders Strong strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for district growth and optimization of 1:1 device initiatives Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-through and ability to work independently within a regional structure Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.) Willingness to travel up to 40% within assigned region and to national conferences or events as needed Enthusiastic alignment with Secured Tech’s core values Ideal Qualifications:
