Job Title Senior Commercial Property & Casualty Account Manager
Location Bozeman, Belgrade or Manhattan, Montana
Employment Type Full-Time
Reports To Office Manager / Agency Leadership
Compensation Salary depending on experience. Accommodations can be made for highly experienced applicants.
Position Overview This role manages a diverse book of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and fostering long‑term relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse book of commercial clients, including contractors, tech firms, ag operations, retail businesses, and local nonprofits.
Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and policy changes with accuracy and care.
Serve as the trusted point of contact for clients, building long‑term relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.
Work closely with producers and underwriters to prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and bind coverages.
Maintain up-to-date records in our agency management system (we use Applied Epic).
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management preferred.
Active Montana Property & Casualty license (preferred).
Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
Familiarity with Applied Epic or similar agency management software.
A team mindset and a positive, community‑focused attitude.
Experience or willingness to obtain an insurance license.
