Account Manager – Software Sales
Location:
Chicago, IL (only US Citizens or Green Card holders)
Salary:
$80,000 – $90,000 per year with annual bonus and commission; commission uncapped.
This role is 70% outside sales and 30% inside sales, targeting the mid‑market manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales efforts to the mid‑market manufacturing sector.
Build a sales plan providing integrated software and service solutions to meet prospect and existing customer needs as a strategic business partner.
Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations.
Develop proven metrics and reporting to drive the team to achieve success with current and prospective customers.
Qualifications
Experience as an account executive at an ERP or MES software firm (must have).
Large‑scale implementation project sales experience with consulting firms such as Cognizant, IBM Global Services, Accenture, PwC, EY, etc.
Business‑to‑business sales experience in manufacturing space, including prospecting, relationship management, and closing complex deals for consulting‑intense software solutions at the executive level.
Strong technology skills and familiarity with value‑added manufacturing processes, including digitization needs.
