Compensation:
$60,000 – $85,000

The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth and achieve profit targets. Acting as a trusted business consultant, the Account Manager provides tailored solutions and delivers the best value proposition to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets.
Coordinate and manage the needs of assigned accounts to ensure satisfaction and growth.
Identify opportunities within assigned accounts and effectively communicate them to the relevant team members.
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts.
Gain a deep understanding of customer organizations, including departments, functions, strategies, and key programs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Direct work experience in the food industry, retail sector, and/or with inventory‑based products.
Strong listening skills with the ability to understand customer needs, concerns, and issues, coupled with effective problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.
Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a methodical approach to task management.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capability to make informed decisions.
Experienced in leveraging judgment, knowledge, and collaboration with team members to develop innovative business proposals.
Able to perform effectively in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments with competing priorities.
Proficient with ERP systems and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Travel/Physical Demands:
Work performed primarily in an office environment.
Travel requirements are typically less than 30%.
Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
Job responsibilities may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, computer work, or telephone use.
