As the Outside Sales Representative, you will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. Your responsibilities include increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, recommending marketing strategies for target markets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
Communicate with customers to understand their needs and suggest products or services.
Demonstrate product or service utility based on customer needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and issue resolution after sale.
Maintain communication with existing customers about new products, services, and enhancements.
Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and vendor or customer problems.
Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least five years of related experience.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, sales, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a high‑paced and occasionally stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical & Other Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
