About The Position As a Federal Account Executive, you will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth in new and existing accounts across the State Department, Department of Transportation, Amtrak, USPS, HUD, and FAA. We are seeking a relentless self‑starter who is hyper‑focused on acquiring new logos by discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, and executing account strategies, while also encouraging existing customer expansion. The AE must drive pipeline generation daily while working with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Channel Partners to exceed sales quotas.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of sales excellence through impressive pipeline growth, outbound prospecting, ruthless qualification, innovation and consistent hard work.

Position Deliverables

Define and execute sales plans for the assigned Federal territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities

Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process

Present Rubrik, Inc. solutions within complex data center design environments

Co‑sell and strategize with partners, distributors and VARs to enable rapid growth

Provide Rubrik, Inc. management with feedback about the local market opportunity and identification of new business opportunities and channel partnerships

About You

5‑10 years of successful sales experience in technology (software or data center)

Tenure in territory – strong rolodex of Federal customers and channels

Proven “Hunter” – high NEW logo attainment within Civilian targets, strategic methodology and passionate about selling

A Closer – consistent over‑achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory

Entrepreneurial – willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude

Smart, adaptable and open‑minded

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

Security and Privacy Responsibilities

Know, acknowledge, and follow system‑specific security policies and procedures;

Protect data and individual privacy per requirements and regulations;

Perform ongoing activities in compliance with service and contractual obligations;

Participate in role‑based training, completing assignments on a timely basis;

Report security issues promptly, and aid investigation when needed;

Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation activities; and

Work collaboratively with Information Security in designing, implementing, assessing or enhancing system‑specific security and privacy controls.

Incumbents without access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85 and undergo a Tier 1 Investigation (T1) for non‑sensitive positions of Low Risk. (Baseline screening; formerly National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI)).

Position Risk Designation: Non‑Sensitive, Moderate Risk, Tier 2 (Public Trust)

Incumbents with access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85P and undergo Tier 2 (T2) Investigation for non‑sensitive positions designated Moderate Risk.

Position Risk Designation: Moderate Risk Law Enforcement (CJIS)

When hired for a position where access to Moderate Risk criminal justice information is required, the employee must complete a fingerprint‑based national criminal history background check within 30 days after the employee’s start date.
