We are growing our team in Phoenix, AZ and have multiple Early Careers full-time sales opportunities available - come join our team as a Sales Agent in the Sales Development Program. In this inbound call role, you will receive a competitive base salary and bonuses based on your sales performance. You will consult customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products and benefits. Our training classes not only prepare you for your role, but we will pay for and provide support for you to obtain the required state insurance licenses. No license is required prior to starting in the role. During training, all new hires will be required to successfully complete the UHC Portfolio Agent New Hire training classes and demonstrate proficiency of the material. Training fully onsite with a hybrid schedule after the completion of training. Location: Site location: 430 N. Scottsdale Road, Tempe, AZ 85288 Work schedule: Operating hours are Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 9:00PM; shifts will be provided during training with rotational weekend work Full-time position with flexibility based on seasonality Onsite training with a standard day shift for 6 - 10 weeks, then hybrid schedule Program features: accelerate your career through the Sales Development Program, collaborate with experienced professionals and sales leaders, build relationships within a close-knit community, curriculum-based and structured program with 18-month commitment Compensation & benefits

Sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for external candidates (2,000 sign-on bonus plus an additional 1,000 if you have a resident license at the time of offer) Base pay plus monthly sales incentive; compensation also includes potential for performance-based bonuses Average first year earnings: $60K (base + commissions); top performers $80K+ Paid Time Off: 18 days accrued in the first year plus 8 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance; short-term and long-term disability 401(k) and Employee Stock Purchase Plan; education reimbursement Employee discounts and referral programs; voluntary benefits (pet, legal, LTC, etc.) Primary responsibilities

Handle inbound calling; no door-to-door visits Answer incoming calls from prospective members, identify needs, and aim to convert to a qualified lead and sale Ask questions, listen, and document information in computer systems Explain product differences and help prospects select products that meet their needs May make outbound calls to follow up with members or to current members regarding products and services Assist prospects with enrollment applications over the phone with accurate information Meet goals for performance, attendance, and consumer experience Maintain requirements for licensure, appointments, and annual product certification Requirements

Required: Current in final year of Bachelor’s degree or degree obtained within 24 months prior to start date; degree must be obtained prior to start Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred qualifications

Experience in sales, customer service, healthcare, or health insurance Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Salary and benefits information note: Pay is based on factors including location, education, and experience. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour for full-time employment. In addition to salary, bonuses are available based on sales performance.
