The primary responsibility of the Sales Representative Outbound I is to develop and execute effective selling skills, focusing on prospecting, growth, development, and maintenance of an active customer account base. This involves soliciting new business and maximizing sales from existing accounts, with a goal to enhance sales performance and customer relationships. Responsibilities
Achieve performance goals by managing a defined set of active customers. Develop new leads and maximize current customer potential using referrals, data mining, relationship building, and market knowledge. Accurately document all account activities in CRM or relevant systems. Represent the organization professionally, adhering to conduct and ethics standards. Maintain positive relationships with internal teams including territory managers, operations, and customer support. Prepare an annual budget for the customer base, including strategies for new customer acquisition based on market potential. Occasional travel may be required. Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving ability and adaptability to variables. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Self-motivated with creative thinking. Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently and prioritize effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally. High school diploma or GED; automotive parts knowledge preferred; import knowledge a plus. At least 1 year of telemarketing or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office applications. 1-3 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical and Work Environment
This role requires sitting, talking, listening, walking, and occasional standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is necessary. The environment involves exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals, with a generally low to moderate noise level. This is a remote position with occasional travel.
