Job Description Johnson & Johnson has entered into an agreement to acquire Intra‑Cellular Therapies, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focusing on therapeutics for central nervous system (CNS) disorders. This position supports the CAPLYTA® medical team in psychiatry. The Neuroscience Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within assigned territories in an ethical and compliant manner. The role requires deep product and disease state knowledge, local strategic planning, and effective budget management.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory.

Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and educate healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence and product efficacy.

Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions based on customer needs.

Work independently with sales proficiency to meet therapeutic and territory expectations.

Maintain current understanding of local market and market influencers, sharing information with stakeholders.

Provide input on resource allocation decisions across customers/region.

Provide special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs within ethical guidelines.

Collaborate with District Manager to develop local business plans that ensure achievement of objectives.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on best practices.

Accurately manage administrative tasks, including work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, and expense reporting.

Complete company and job‑related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

1+ year of B2B sales experience; prior sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical devices preferred.

Experience with antipsychotic, bi‑polar, or neuroscience sales is a plus.

Strong desire to improve lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centric mindset.

High integrity, compliance with company policies.

Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong teamwork skills.

Track record of success in adapting to evolving environments such as Covid‑19.

Agility and adaptability to virtual/telemedicine environments.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess progress and identify opportunities.

Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information.

Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours; domestic travel required.

Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary range: $79,000 – $130,000.
