Overview
Sales Merchandiser - Full Time - Kirkland, WA Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr Responsibilities
Safely operate a deli slicer Set up of deli cases and appropriately rotate deli product Understand and execute schematics/planograms Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS) Be a self-starter, work in a team environment and/or with little or no supervision Manage time effectively and productively Complete all reports as necessary including store surveys Provide coverage to all stores within assigned territory based on store ranking Visit stores regularly, document concerns/problems (shortages, equipment problems, ordering issues, etc.), and address them timely Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers, employees, and store customers Possess knowledge to create and market Dietz & Watson programs Train all new store deli hires on the merits of Dietz & Watson and refresh training when needed Communicate information to Merchandiser Manager (e.g., grand openings, store closings) Use monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution Explore opportunities for sales growth with Merchandiser Manager Maintain full displays and a clean, sanitary work environment Perform special projects outside of assigned territory Qualifications & Requirements
Flexibility and ability to travel (up to 30% of the time, including flying) Must be able to read and write English Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills Ability to exercise independent decision-making Available to work weekends on occasion High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; previous deli experience a plus Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license Valid Real ID or Passport for travel Ability to pass the company-issued ServSafe Manager exam Benefits & Incentives
Full-Time Hourly Position - $22.00 - $25.00 based on experience Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit Ability to earn 5+ hours of overtime per week Monthly Car Allowance/Expenses Reimbursement on select travel Gas Card Provided Company Issued Cell Phone Benefits Package Including – Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx/Disability/401K Working Conditions
