Sales Merchandiser • Full Time • Seattle, WA
We are looking for a full‑time merchandiser to support our sales and branding across multiple store locations in Washington. The successful candidate will combine deli expertise with strong customer service skills to drive product visibility and sales growth.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate a deli slicer and set up deli cases while rotating inventory.
Implement planograms and maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson POS system.
Manage time effectively while covering all assigned stores based on ranking.
Conduct regular store visits to document shortages, equipment problems, ordering issues, and communicate concerns to Merchandiser Manager.
Build and maintain customer relationships, offering high-level service to deli managers, staff and customers.
Train new deli hires on Dietz & Watson programs and refresh training as needed.
Utilize monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution and pursue sales growth opportunities.
Complete all required reports, including store surveys and other documentation.
Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and perform any special projects outside the standard territory.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of customer service/sales experience; prior deli experience a plus.
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, Real ID or passport for travel.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills.
Ability to exercise independent decision‑making and work in a safety‑sensitive position.
Must be available to work weekends on occasion and flexible to travel up to 30% of the time.
Must pass the company‑issued ServSafe Manager exam.
Benefits & Compensation
Hourly rate $23.00–$25.00 base, commensurate with experience.
Weekly payroll via direct deposit.
Opportunity to earn overtime (5+ hours/week).
Monthly car allowance/expenditure reimbursement for selective travel.

Working Conditions
Temperature‑controlled store environments, with occasional work in refrigerated areas.
Physical requirements: standing, bending, twisting, lifting up to 20 lbs frequently (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and occasionally up to 100 lbs while pushing/pulling carts.
Use of both hands and arms; operating a motor vehicle; safety‑sensitive tasks.
