Duties/Responsibilities
Generates sales to customers for generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on all generators make and models.
Quotes services in the field and collaborates with all customer relations.
Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
Attending and working industry trade shows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
Create and implement strategies for generator service and rental growth.
Work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Basic knowledge of computers.
Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers.
Incumbents must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, since employees will be driving company owned vehicles and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out‑of‑town locations.
