Smart Expansion Sales Specialist – Charleston, SC
BD, one of the largest global medical technology companies, is seeking a driven, results-oriented Smart Expansion Sales Specialist to manage a defined portfolio of Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) customers, broadening patient reach and driving utilization across care settings.
Responsibilities
Call on anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine, and EP Lab physicians to promote APM products such as FloTrac Sensor, ClearSight cuff, Acumen IQ cuff/sensors, and ForeSight.
Identify untapped opportunities, prospect new business, and build relationships from the ground up.
Drive business growth within new and existing accounts by identifying opportunities and closing deals.
Analyze performance gaps and execute short‑term regional strategies to meet sales targets.
Maintain proactive, self‑starting approach and passion for growing business in underserved or emerging markets.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a related field.
3+ years of progressive sales experience in the medical devices industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated and results‑oriented.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Ability to travel as needed.
Knowledge of APM products and competitor products.
Understanding of business unit strategy and selling model.
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to APM products.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience building productive internal and external relationships.
Location
Charleston, SC (primary) – Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC also considered.
