Manages sales activities of assigned accounts, territory and product line. Territory is the Eastern US. Responsibilities

Direct and organize the marketing, market development, external sales and internal sales activities for the assigned area. Control and update CRM accounts, opportunities, and other relevant sales details for reporting purposes. Review customer information to determine customer needs, volume potential and discount rates as they relate to the assigned region, and develop sales strategies and campaigns to close individual sales. Evaluate core markets and develop, locate and train channel partners for those markets. Recommend to the assigned accounts product simplification and standardization. Represent the company at trade shows to promote products. Coordinate liaison between the assigned region, accounts, and CST personnel. Control personal expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales. Coordinate and optimize travel within the assigned territory. Qualifications

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university. 5 years of proven industrial sales with focus on high-ticket capital goods selling to owners, contractors, EPCs, engineers, OEMs or end-users. Knowledge and history selling to one or more core markets - including fire protection, municipal, energy, construction, mining or industrial markets. Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Other Skills and Abilities

Prepare quotes and estimates from customer specifications. Up to 50% travel and public speaking abilities are required. Access to personal transportation is required for travel. Seniority level
