Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced
Key Account Manager
to strengthen hospital partnerships and drive growth in our DME business. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between PMES and its hospital partners, maintaining strong relationships with discharge planners, case managers, and hospital leadership, while identifying opportunities for new business and ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for key hospital and health system partners.
Maintain and grow relationships with discharge planners, case managers, and hospital leadership.
Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for referral growth.
Collaborate with PMES leadership and internal teams to resolve service or documentation challenges.
Leverage existing hospital contacts and leads to expand partnerships and referral volume.
Identify and pursue new hospital and facility accounts aligned with PMES services.
Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting PMES capabilities and workflow efficiencies.
Analyze referral data and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
Support the implementation of new DME programs or services within hospital accounts.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree required.
3–5 years of experience in healthcare account management, DME, or hospital relations.
Proven ability to develop and maintain successful partnerships with healthcare providers and facilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with both clinical and administrative staff.
Excellent organizational, presentation, and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with Brightree, CarePort, or similar healthcare referral platforms preferred.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% within Ohio.
Professional appearance suitable for hospital and corporate environments.
Preferred Experience:
Account Management or Healthcare Relations: 3+ years.
Work Location:
Field-based with regular hospital visits required in Ohio.
