The account executive (AE) is a pivotal role focused on providing administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of client accounts. The AE will develop an understanding of basic medical education skills and processes, relationship building and event management, while delivering high standards of work to deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks. Responsibilities
Account Administration: build understanding of the client, products, medical education programs, and project objectives Set up, develop, and manage effective account team administrative procedures Prepare meeting rooms and coordinate refreshments as required Filing and storage of client materials; support for new business opportunities Develop and update action lists, status reports, and minutes; compile and manage databases Liaise with suppliers (multimedia, design teams) to produce medical education projects in various formats Provide general office and administrative support; ensure written communication aligns with Virgo House Style Contribute to team meetings and track account team costs; accurately input hours into timesheets Begin to develop understanding of scientific data behind products and the therapeutic area Organise logistics for external meetings, including venue booking and accommodation; prepare briefing documents Provide office support for off-site events and organise printed materials Liaise with clients on day-to-day basis to progress tactics; understand client environment and relevant contacts Build professional relationships with external suppliers and potential case studies/KOLs Develop awareness of the broader health environment to support client programs Experience/Skills
Excellent organization and administration skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Systematic and logical approach to planning Computer literate with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Attention to detail Experience Level
0-2 years of experience in a health care communications and/or logistics company Education
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferred, or graduate caliber Virgo Characteristics
Team player; reliable; enthusiastic; conscientious; proactive; self-motivated; multitasker; organized Professionalism and client focus; commercial awareness; detail oriented Key Performance Indicators
