Opportunity To fuel our 2025 growth plans, we are looking for talented sales professionals to join our New York sales team. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in GDS, helping to broker relationships with senior decision makers from key accounts and new targets. You will work directly with senior executives to ensure accelerated learning and mentorship with strong career development opportunities. At GDS we pride ourselves on rewarding our sales team; you will receive a monthly, uncapped commission scheme so your success is recognized and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities
Own the top–of–funnel full sales cycle process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics
Engage with solution providers across the globe at the forefront of cutting‑edge innovation and new technology
Partner with SVP and C‑suite executives, work strategically with customers to position GDS and their advanced solutions in front of key decision makers from the largest enterprises in Europe and North America
Develop a robust pipeline and drive market share by securing new business opportunities while nurturing and developing relationships with existing clients
Speak with decision makers about their strategic commercial objectives and communicate our capability to directly match their solutions to enterprise projects
Develop a continuous sales pipeline by researching the multiple layers of the market to identify prospect organisations
Provide strong domain and vertical expertise to help develop solutions that promote long‑term engagement with GDS Group
Articulate our value proposition to ensure the business impact of the solution is understood by our prospect/client
What you will bring to the role
A highly motivated sales professional with the passion and dedication to achieve results
Positive attitude and strong coachability
1+ year in an SDR or strong outbound sales role
Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be conversing with senior‑level decision makers on a daily basis
Strong work ethic to excel in outbound multi‑channel prospecting (circa 100 calls, 30 emails/LinkedIn per day)
Entrepreneurial mindset with an internal drive to hit goals, succeed and continuously develop
Process‑driven and follows best practice to achieve success
