We are expanding our CAPLYTA® medical team and inviting a Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II to support our growing impact in psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sales performance in assigned territory, ensuring forecasts are met or exceeded while calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.

Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives; customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share this information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives; capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategic plan implementation.

Work with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.

Administer timely and accurate records of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, sample, and expense reporting.

Build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and role‑related training within the required timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical devices; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.

Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, a valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

Strong desire to improve patient and caregiver lives; demonstrate patient‑centricity.

High integrity and adherence to the company’s Compliance policies and procedures.

Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, excellent decision‑making judgment, teaming, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Track record of learning and adapting in evolving environments, e.g., covid‑19.

Agile and adaptable to changing telemedicine/virtual environments.

Ability to analyze data/metrics, assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.

Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours.

Some overnight travel may be required depending on geography; domestic travel to headquarters, training, and sales meetings also required periodically.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
