Outside Sales Manager – Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas. Tengco, Inc. is a privately owned, 45-year-old worldwide importer and distributor of custom-manufactured industrial metal products. Our specialty products include: Fasteners (Bolts, Nuts & Washers), Castings, Forgings, Stampings, Machined Parts. With stocking distribution centers in Los Angeles, CA; St. Louis, MO; Atlanta, GA; and Houston, TX — plus extensive overseas logistics — we support our customers with reliable supply, engineering support, and quality assurance programs that set us apart. Our niche is supplying high-volume parts made to customer drawings, paired with inventory management and distribution programs. This role is based in the region but may be remote with regular travel within the territory and to our Houston branch. Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and close new business within the assigned regional territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Partner with inside sales, logistics, and engineering teams to deliver superior service. Understand customer drawings and requirements and communicate effectively with Tengco’s sourcing and engineering team. Track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in a structured, organized manner. Represent Tengco at regional trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events. Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience (industrial, manufacturing, or distribution preferred). Familiarity with fasteners, castings, forgings, stampings, or machined parts a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to win new business and grow accounts. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals. Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with internal teams. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to support customers and business development. What We Offer
