Build and nurture relationships with general contractors, architects, facility managers, property owners, and building engineers Prospect and qualify commercial opportunities such as warehouse doors, dock systems, sectional doors, access controls, rolling steel doors, and gate systems Conduct site visits and job walks to assess existing conditions and system needs Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, estimates, and bids Collaborate with operations, technical, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution Serve as a product expert — stay current on codes, materials, hardware, and new door technologies Represent Goody at trade shows, local associations, and networking events Maintain accurate records in CRM and manage your sales pipeline professionally Facilitate post-installation follow-ups, warranty relationships, and upsell/maintenance renewals What You Bring

Proven sales experience in construction, industrial doors, garage doors, or building products Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specs, and architectural plans (preferred) Technical aptitude and curiosity — you love learning how things work Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong organizational habits and attention to detail Familiarity with CRM software, Excel, and Microsoft Office (or equivalents) Self-driven, disciplined, and able to manage your own territory Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to commit to a non-compete or geographic restriction (if required) Benefits & Growth
