Regional Sales Manager - Industrial at Vantage Specialty Chemicals. This role focuses on sales and gross margin growth for assigned segments, customers, and territories within the Industrial markets. Position Summary & Scope

Reporting to the Vice President of Performance Solutions, the Industrial Sales Manager develops account strategies, manages key accounts, and contributes to business strategy and financial success. This role involves developing and executing strategic account plans for the Performance Solutions’ Industrial business and pursuing new business growth aligned with the company’s long-term vision. This position does not have direct reports. The role is remote, supporting North America, with travel required; proximity to a major airport is essential. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Create, manage, and attain sales and gross margin targets for assigned accounts in Industrial markets (e.g., water treatment, CASE, Emulsion polymerization, Lubricants, polymer additives, rubber processing, and other specialty applications). Build and develop new and existing accounts; manage sales opportunities aligned with business and account strategies. Focus on generating new business opportunities with a proactive, self-starter approach. Identify and develop new leads for Industrial markets. Engage with the Vantage Commercial team to develop account strategies, create pre-call plans, provide post-call reports, and manage the opportunity funnel with CRM support. Prepare call reports, forecasts, and quarterly presentations for current or new business activity, new products, and other relevant information. Develop, manage, and train distribution networks where applicable and recommend changes when necessary. Provide feedback to relevant business functions regarding product performance, new opportunities, and competitive intelligence including pricing data. Assist accounting and customer service in collection activities. Advocate for customers by communicating with R&D, Project Management, and Supply Chain; monitor industry trends to drive the business. Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company. Maintain a conversant understanding of relevant technical knowledge and industry trends. Resolve customer issues and manage problems to support a Customer First strategy. Utilize CRM to document customer calls, opportunities, and maintain key customer information. Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business or related sciences is preferred. Experience

At least 5 years of demonstrated relationship-building with key decision-makers in related markets; 7–10 years preferred. Proven success in sales and prospecting, including new business development within oxide or ester markets. Proven ability to drive new business and overcome challenges. Technical proficiency and knowledge in the relevant industry. Understanding of industry trends and the company’s product portfolio. Track record of leading and executing high-impact sales initiatives. Financial acumen with responsibility for EBITDA/OCM. Effective time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Knowledge, Skills & Talents

Sales excellence through product demonstrations, marketing strategy, and selling techniques. Ability to research, understand, and develop current and prospective customers. Strong planning, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. Computer proficiency with CRM and MS Office; ability to conduct online research. Effective presentation skills and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities applicable to technical and practical challenges. Credible, trusted presence and relationship-building with customers and internal teams. High ethical standards and representation of Vantage in the marketplace. Working Conditions

Remote role; travel 30%–50% of the time (mix of day and overnight trips). Pay And Benefits

The estimated base pay range for this position is $120,000–$180,000 annually. Actual pay is based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive program.
