In this role, you’ll help expand Brunel’s mining presence across the U.S., developing long-term partnerships with clients who rely on us for top technical and professional talent. You’ll have a dedicated recruiting team behind you, no territory boundaries, and the freedom to grow business wherever opportunity strikes.
We’re looking for a strategic relationship builder — someone who goes beyond transactions to build trusted partnerships that last.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and cold calling.
Build and maintain a strong client pipeline across the U.S. mining sector.
Lead business meetings and client presentations, promoting Brunel’s full-service staffing solutions — including contract, direct hire, retained search, and RPO.
Serve as the primary contact for new clients and manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation through contract negotiation.
Collaborate with Brunel’s global mining vertical to leverage international relationships and cross-border opportunities.
Partner with internal recruiting teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Contribute to brand awareness initiatives and continuously improve the customer experience.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of proven business development experience in the staffing industry; mining or technical sector experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in relationship-based sales, not transactional.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
High degree of integrity and professionalism.
Willingness to travel (up to 10%) to client sites nationwide.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license required.
