Position Summary The Selling Sales Manager will lead and grow our Toshiba, Brother, and Lexmark product lines, manage a high‑performing inside telemarketing/appointment setting team, and work toward expanding the overall sales operations team. This role reports directly to the President of JMS.
Essential Job Functions
Achieve assigned sales quotas through direct selling in the territory and by building an outside sales team.
Attract, hire, train, develop, motivate, and manage members of a world‑class sales organization.
Aggressively stimulate, review, and monitor all business activity to ensure achievement of activity goals.
Ensure achievement of sales and profitability objectives.
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly revenue streams.
Provide quarterly evaluations of sales organization productivity.
Understand each employee’s strengths and weaknesses with recommendations to develop performance areas.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the sales organization and implement changes.
Develop solid business relationships with new or existing customers.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Proven track record in outside sales in the office equipment industry.
Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing high performing sales teams.
Proven ability to directly manage and track performance and employee development.
Motivate and direct sales teams in commercial, SMB, and major & government account arenas.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management, and organizational skills.
Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability.
Experience in accurately forecasting and managing sales for a high‑growth business.
Excellent internal and external customer relationships.
Experience, Educational Requirements and Certifications
4+ years of experience selling and managing hardware or IT products in the copier & printer, mailing, or related industries.
History of job stability and documented success.
College degree.
Good driving record and a functional vehicle.
Ability to travel within the territory.
Proven track record of prospecting and business development.

Competitive base salary ($50,000–$75,000) plus a generous commission plan.

Base salary ranges from $50,000 to $75,000.
First year’s total compensation can reach $85,000 to $115,000 if targets are met.
