Overview Join our team as an Inside Sales Representative and play a key role in driving sales growth while building strong customer relationships. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage opportunities, support the sales team, and ensure smooth order processing with responsive communication throughout the order lifecycle. Your contributions will directly impact our sales success. We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and highly responsive professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and dealer partners to drive repeat business and expand account potential.

Support outside sales by identifying appropriate product solutions, guiding quotations, and actively following up on opportunities.

Qualify customer requirements, collaborate with Sales and Engineering on feasibility, and provide timely feedback to accelerate quoting and decision‑making.

Manage the quote‑to‑order process, coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Shipping to ensure accuracy, on‑time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status, lead times, and documentation to maintain engagement and support sales activity.

Assist with territory management by organizing opportunities, monitoring pipeline activity, and ensuring consistent follow‑up to advance prospects and quotes.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to execute revenue‑generating initiatives and achieve measurable sales outcomes.

Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, maintaining a customer‑first approach.

Maintain accurate customer, quote, and order information in CRM/ERP systems to ensure pipeline visibility and reliable forecasting.

Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring consistent communication, accurate quoting, and proactive support.

Generate and analyze reports on RFQs, quoting performance, order activity, and customer trends to identify new sales opportunities.

Contribute to process improvements that enhance responsiveness, quote accuracy, and overall customer experience to support higher conversion rates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer‑facing roles within B2B/industrial markets.

Experience collaborating within an inside/outside sales representative structure.

Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ERP systems, and their application to sales processes.

Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical equipment functions and options.

Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and executing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, customer‑focused approach.

Confident phone presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self‑starter with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and opportunity development.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong command of written and spoken English.

Willingness to travel up to 20%.
