Key Responsibilities
Develop, issue, and manage customer quotes across all A&I brands in Salesforce and ERP systems.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing, part configuration, and documentation.
Track quote status and conduct follow‑up communications for smaller‑value orders or repeat customers.
Collaborate with Account Managers and the Customer Success Manager to standardize quoting processes as A&I systems merge and mature.
Support new process development as the business moves toward integrated quoting tools and standardized quote templates.
Act as a frontline contact for inbound inquiries related to quotes, orders, and product availability.
Support smaller or transactional customers directly to ensure high responsiveness or retention.
Provide visibility to order progress and coordinate internally when fulfillment or logistics updates are needed.
Maintain a customer‑first approach through professional, timely, and proactive communication.
Sales Operations and Collaborations
Maintain Salesforce data integrity by updating opportunities, quote notes, and customer interactions.
Partner with Marketing and Sales on outbound quote campaigns or re‑engagement initiatives.
Liaise with Operations and Customer Success to share insights on order patterns, customer needs, and process bottlenecks.
Help streamline workflows between inside sales, field sales, and customer success functions.
Performance and Reporting
Track and report on quoting KPIs including quote‑to‑order conversion rate, average quote turnaround time, quote accuracy and revision rates, regional order intake performance.
Identify opportunities to improve quote efficiency and customer response speed.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience in sales support, quoting, or customer engagement.
Strong verbal, written, and customer‑facing communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
Preferred
2‑4 years of experience in inside Salesforce, ERP systems, and standard quoting processes.
Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce, ERP systems, and standard quoting processes.
Experience with supporting industrial, aerospace, or manufacturing markets.
Familiarity with technical products, engineered solutions, or service‑based sales models.
Demonstrated ability to identify cross‑sell or upsell opportunities within transactional accounts.
