Responsibilities:
Build a territory and grow earnings by developing repeat business relationships and opening new business.
Call on engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others using a consultative approach to understand customer applications and needs.
Achieve sales and profit goals through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person presentations.
Conduct sales activities, develop customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
Conduct product demonstrations, survey market and competitive conditions.
Complete reports on itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and related activities.
Position Requirements:
At least 1 year of B2B sales experience or proven professional leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.
Experience in outside B2B sales.
Desired Characteristics:
Self-motivated and proactive.
Strong relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
