Fine Wine and Spirits Field Sales Representative (Metro, NY)
Spirits of Independence Italia is a dynamic, fast‑growing, family‑owned import and distribution company serving New York and New Jersey. We represent over 120 family‑run wineries and distilleries from 14 countries.
Location: New York, NY (Eastern Long Island market)
Base pay range:
$80,000 / yr – $80,000 / yr (starting at $80k + commission; experience may increase compensation)
We are looking for a natural‑born closer who thrives on achieving results and who can build and maintain relationships with key import and domestic partners. The role is 100 % sales.
Find and close new business
Secure incremental business with existing accounts
Show up consistently and follow up on leads
Read and connect with clients on and off the premise
Create energy around our brands and generate excitement
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3‑5 years of NY wine and spirits sales experience preferred; industry experience required
Strong knowledge of imported and domestic wine and spirits
Strong current account relationships on and off premise
Self‑directed, motivated, organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently in a high‑energy, team‑oriented environment
