We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Rexel USA team in Eagle, CO!
Summary The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for proactive telephone and email sales and marketing efforts aimed at increasing profitable sales. Duties include establishing and maintaining customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, pursuing product and application knowledge, and prospecting organic growth from the existing customer base.
What You'll Do
Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms, and offering substitute products when appropriate.
Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products; answer technical questions; and increase business through new customer acquisition and additional sales to existing customers.
Prospect for new accounts within a specified geographical territory.
Manage a defined customer base and establish and maintain relationships.
Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying objectives, requirements, and preferences; close orders and resolve customer issues promptly using root‑cause analysis.
Process product quotations and proposals and provide continuous follow‑up throughout the customer purchasing cycle.
Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market trends.
Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training to maintain personal and product knowledge.
Pursue product applications utilizing personal knowledge, internal specialists, vendor representatives, and other resources.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications What You'll Need
2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
High School diploma or GED (required).
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to handle basic/intermediate issues and problems.
Basic/intermediate product and application knowledge essential.
Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude toward customers; sensitivity to their needs.
Customer‑oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Highly self‑motivated.
Familiar with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Physical Demands
Sit: Must remain stationary at least 51% of the time.
Walk: Must move inside/outside office frequently (21%–50%).
Use hands: Operate computer and office machinery constantly (at least 51%).
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Occasionally (up to 20%) to stock shelves or handle boxes.
Climb or balance: Occasionally (up to 20%) on ladder, forklift, or pallet jack.
Talk, hear, taste, smell: Occasionally (up to 20%) to communicate and detect hazards.
Weight And Force Demands
Up to 10 pounds: Frequently (21%–50%).
