Sales Account Manager

to join our dynamic team. This key position plays a strategic role in developing, managing, and expanding high‑value customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and enhancing the customer experience across airlines, MROs, and other aviation‑related companies.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and key customer management matters.

Establish, strengthen, and maintain long‑term client relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations.

Proactively drive outbound sales initiatives to secure new business and expand existing customer portfolios.

Lead high‑value negotiations and provide customized solutions to meet customer needs.

Analyze customer purchasing patterns, market trends, and inventory to identify sales opportunities and maximize revenue potential.

Manage complex RFQs and RFPs, and oversee the end‑to‑end quoting and sales cycle for major opportunities.

Monitor Open Order Reports, ensuring timely communication with customers and internal departments to maintain outstanding service levels.

Collaborate with Product Line teams to strategically price inventory and promote high‑demand assets.

Identify, develop, and close purchasing and consignment opportunities with customers.

Lead onsite visits, attend industry conferences, and represent KP Aviation at key networking events.

Assist in product diversification and repair management initiatives to expand service offerings and product availability.

Mentor and support the sales team in meeting company goals and enhancing customer service standards.

Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership regarding market positioning and sales strategies.

Ensure all activities are compliant with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

Champion KP Aviation’s brand and core values through professional interactions and ethical business practices.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the aviation aftermarket industry.

Proven success in managing major/key accounts and generating new business opportunities.

Strong technical understanding of aviation components, repair processes, and certification requirements.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to travel for client visits, conferences, and industry events as required.

Experience with commercial aircraft component sales.

Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience within a sales environment.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
