Base pay range: $58,848.00/yr - $62,448.00/yr. This range is provided by Nippon Shokken U.S.A Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
At Nippon Shokken U.S.A., we’re seeking a sales-focused professional who understands flavor and the culinary world. If you have a passion for food and enjoy connecting with people, you can help us introduce premium Japanese seasonings and sauces to new customers across the U.S. This role blends culinary know-how with business acumen, offering travel, relationship-building, and growth opportunities.
Location: Schaumburg, IL. Workdays: Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 pm); some weekends may be necessary. We E-Verify and conduct post-offer substance screening.
Responsibilities
80% travel in the area; 20% desk work. Business trips are assigned as needed
Report to the office every morning; schedule appointments and reach out to clients
Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers
Prepare, distribute, and coordinate sales contracts and associated forms to complete orders
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information, including pricing and inventory
Record sales and order information; send copies to the sales office and enter data
Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system
Review sales performance and aim to meet or exceed targets
Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Preferred: sales experience in the food industry
Able to lift over 40 lbs
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Valid driver’s license and own transportation
