Local lumber & building supply company is seeking a well-spoken, energetic sales representative to assist with professional contractors and retail consumer sales
Qualifications: Knowledge in building products and general construction
Responsibilities:
Engage with customer to understand their needs and providing expert advice on building material products
Generate and process orders coming in via phone, email, fax
Effective upgrade selling and add-on sales
Effective closing technique
Support members of the inside sales team
Assist and support outside sales team
Assist with estimate materials needed for projects
Ensure orders are accurate and processed properly
Develop a continuous relationship with customers and our vendors
Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in retail sales
Ability to thrive in high pace environments
Hours: 7:30 am-4:00 pm- no weekends
