Bray International, Inc. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for forecasting sales for the upcoming year, managing sales Representatives and Distributors along with promoting all products, programs, and policies. Responsibilities
Establish sales forecast on an annual basis for the upcoming year for each representative and distributor. Promote seminars with key customers on a regular basis and encourage plant tours in Houston for key customers, especially those with upcoming projects. Discuss strategies to penetrate new and existing markets with Representatives and Distributor owners. Monitor Distributor inventory when visiting the territory to ensure it is adequate to supply the market. Act as a clearing house for all sales leads received from other Distributors, other RSMs, and Flow-Tek management. Coordinate all leads and follow up on each item with the appropriate parties. The RSM may make on-the-spot pricing decisions within factory guidelines when required to close an order and must notify Houston, in writing, of any pricing decisions made in the field. Recommend directing complex issues to the factory when information required to make decisions on factory lead times, custom designed products, or pricing on non-standard products is not available locally. Be involved in the revision of blanket quote pricing and project pricing when there is firsthand account knowledge and information on requirements to capture an account. When dealing with field service problems, allow the factory to handle evaluations unless the problem is obviously application related and resolvable in the field. Follow up on all significant outstanding quotes within the territory. Coordinate any plan of action with the Distributor and Inside Sales to help close an order. Be completely knowledgeable with and promote all products, programs, and policies. Coordinate with the owner/manager of the Distributor to set up calls on selected accounts in advance. Become active in scheduling calls if necessary. Select only customers with the greatest potential. Attend weekly team calls to summarize activities and prepare a monthly report highlighting Top 5 wins, losses, and monthly focus targets for senior management review. Submit necessary information concerning any account, Representative, or Distributor of immediate and significant importance. Hold training seminars with Representatives and Distributors, when necessary, to review the product line, update them on new products, and improve their product knowledge and presentation skills related to the Flow-Tek product line. With the VP of Sales, evaluate Distributor performance and determine whether a Distributor should be canceled or added to a territory. Responsible for identifying qualified representation in a territory. Promote all products, programs, and policies in the territory and stay informed on market developments to drive growth. Qualifications And Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Degreed Engineer or equivalent Minimum 10 years sales or sales management experience in a related industry, preferably ball valves and/or control valves Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook Extensive experience with D365, the CRM Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Why Work for Us?
