Regional Account Manager, Industrial Products/Manufacturing Sales
Location: Must live centrally within territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Southern Virginia).
Overview: Our client, a leader in industrial solutions, is seeking a Regional Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts while proactively pursuing new business opportunities. The role requires driving territory strategy, maintaining accurate CRM data, and delivering exceptional customer service across manufacturing and boardroom settings.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans; achieve territory and corporate sales targets.
Conduct regular sales calls and in-person visits to existing customer accounts.
Maintain and grow gross margin while protecting business.
Attend weekly planning meetings; track metrics, milestones, and results.
Develop new product opportunities and vendor consolidation strategies.
Participate in lunch and learns and joint vendor calls.
Maintain CRM with activities, appointments, and quotes.
Follow up on product launches and trade shows.
Qualifications
5+ years of B2B field/territory/outside sales experience.
3+ years of industrial product or manufacturing industry sales experience.
Proficient with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
50% travel within territory (every other week).
Compensation Base pay: $90,000 – $100,000 per year. Commission average $30,000 annually.
