Representative - Inside Sales
Accu-Tech Corporation is seeking a Representative – Inside Sales to drive growth across our portfolio of low‑voltage solutions.
Job Description As an Inside Sales Representative, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of our products and services. Your focus will be on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand our current book of accounts while collaborating with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.
Responsibilities
Obtain orders via email and telephone calls, verify information, enter items, and transfer orders to fulfillment.
Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and reviewing customer buying history.
Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes.
Prepare, generate, and follow up on quotations to secure orders or determine reasons for loss of order.
Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, including those at risk of meeting delivery dates.
Maintain distribution system backorder report, customer expediting report and notices, and customer notifications.
Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience, with a solid track record of achieving results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Strong multitasking ability and ability to work independently with general supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potential new accounts.
Comfortable traveling 0%–25%.
