Summary:
The Senior Benefits Account Manager maintains client relationships, leads the account service team, and supports the Health Insurance Fund division by deploying corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive benefits solutions for Acrisure NJ Platform accounts.
Responsibilities
Support JHIF members and their employees with day-to-day benefits needs
Assist with COBRA and Direct Bill programs within JHIF entities
Review Medicare member eligibility and oversee transitions into the Medicare population
Conduct client meetings and presentations to support consulting services
Communicate effectively with employers and employees during open enrollment
Gather data, verify facts, and help rectify claims issues
Apply effective management and marketing techniques
Continuously build knowledge to keep pace with market trends
Demonstrate strong organizational and management skills
Familiar with carrier computer systems for reference
Coordinate and manage renewal and RFP processes for clients
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in large market employee benefits
New Jersey Life and Health License
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
