Regional

Business Development Executive

to join our sales team. This strategic role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional to deliver business growth within specific target market segments while expanding the client base within a defined geographic region. This role requires a strong focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities in the safety practice through strategic networking, lead generation, cold calling, and attending industry events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, track record of achieving sales targets, and the ability to build and maintain a strong professional network. Experience selling fall protection, engineering services or prior data center experience would be a plus. Compensation:

$100,000 – 130,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Business Development

New Business Development:

Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, inbound assignments, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present overall company value proposition Expand Existing Business:

Drive business growth by expanding relationships with existing accounts and identifying new revenue opportunities. Develop Strategies:

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that align with client needs. Account Mapping:

Identify top volume target accounts and develop an account roadmap based on regional offices and key decision makers relative to corporate office Monitor Trends:

Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business development strategies. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle. Client Relationship Management

Build Relationships:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. Ensure Customer Success:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Networking & Influence

Build Awareness:

Attend local industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a circle of influence and stay informed about industry trends. Expand Network:

Actively participate in professional organizations and community groups to enhance the company's visibility and reputation. Develop and maintain a network of contacts within strategic industries. Results

Education:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Qualifications:

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in business development, selling professional services experience desired Strong ability to lead a comprehensive value proposition presentation of all LJB service offerings Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business within a target market and/or assigned territory Basic understanding of structural, infrastructure, or safety engineering preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools. Ability to travel overnight up to 40%.
